Meet Cara Carpin, FNP-C
Founder of Restore Health by Science
Cara Carpin is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of clinical experience and is the founder of Restore Health by Science. She created the practice with a clear mission: to provide personalized, science-driven care that looks beyond symptom management and helps patients improve how they feel.
Cara earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Duquesne University. She began her career in family medicine and eventually transitioned to neurology, where she gained extensive experience evaluating symptoms, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, interpreting diagnostic testing, and providing ongoing care. Her experience within the traditional healthcare model strengthened her belief that patients deserve more time, deeper evaluation, and individualized treatment plans.
Today, Cara practices Optimal Health Medicine, a proactive approach focused on understanding the factors influencing each patient’s health. She has completed advanced hormone training, including Advanced BHRT Certification through WorldLink Medical, and provides personalized care in hormone and thyroid optimization, metabolic health and gut health.
Cara combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, high-touch approach that allows patients to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. Her greatest fulfillment comes from helping patients uncover answers, regain their confidence, and create a clear path toward better health and a higher quality of life.
