Meet Cara Carpin, FNP-C — Founder of Restore Health by Science

Cara Carpin is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered medical care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Duquesne University, where she built a strong clinical foundation through academic training, hands-on experience, and a commitment to caring for patients across a wide range of health needs.

Cara began her career in family medicine, where she developed experience evaluating symptoms, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, and managing ongoing patient care. Her work in that setting strengthened her belief in the importance of careful evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and building lasting relationships with patients.

As the founder of Restore Health by Science, Cara provides care focused on preventive medicine, diagnostic evaluation, treatment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, and ongoing follow-up care. Her approach is grounded in science, clinical assessment, and individualized care tailored to each patient’s symptoms, history, examination findings, and objective data.

Cara has also completed advanced hormone training, including Advanced BHRT Certification through WorldLink Medical, and incorporates hormone evaluation and therapy when clinically indicated as part of a broader medical treatment plan. Her goal is to provide thorough, evidence-based care that helps patients better understand their health and receive appropriate treatment, monitoring, and referral coordination when needed.
